School on the Road: 2011

Even before we began homeschooling, we were a traveling family. Each time my husband's work moved us to a new state. I made sure to include educational stops along our drive. Those moves, plus trips to Kentucky to see family, and field trips around our home when family came to visit us, have added up.

In 2011 we visited 10 National Parks/Forests/Monuments, including Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Park, Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, and Death Valley.
